Okay, so I have been hearing all over Twitter that the powers of Glee that be are planning a Moulin Rouge episode. Months before that, I was hearing that Klaine should sing "Come What May" from that same movie. Well, I finally saw the movie last night, fell in love, almost cried, and agreed with the fandom. I cannot wait to see this episode and Klaine better be singing "Come What May" or "Your Song." And since Blaine is the student body president, I know just how it can happen:

PROM!

Just imagine it: a Moulin Rouge-themed prom! "Where the rich and powerful come to play with the young and beautiful creatures of the underworld." The magic! The beauty! A ribbon above the stage that reads: "The greatest lesson you will ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return." Oooh, it would be amazing! I can feel it in my bones!!

Blaine goes to prom with another man-yes, a painful concept, but go with it for now-and Kurt goes to prom to spy on him because he still loves him. Kurt sees them dancing and smiling and laughing together and stands broken-hearted in the middle of the gym. Blaine gets twirled by the other boy and catches a glance at Kurt during a pause. Kurt turns and walks out of the gym. We next see him against the bricks wondering aloud what the hell he's doing spending his day off and spare money to spy on his ex-boyfriend's prom. Blaine comes out to meet Kurt and asks him what he's doing there. Kurt attempts to say that he's there to see Tina and Artie and...well...he basically names whoever he can aside from Blaine. Blaine steps closer and gets Kurt to admit that he misses him and still loves him, but then defends that it hurt like nothing else to know that Blaine cheated on him two months after he told him that he should go to New York made him feel like that guy was there all along. Blaine will counter, Klaine will argue, and they will agree that they still love each other in unison. Kurt tries to say that that didn't come out the way he meant it to and tries to walk away, saying that he couldn't try the long-distance thing again and have it fail...AGAIN. Blaine then starts to sing "Come What May" and Kurt stays. When the Ewen McGregor part ends, Blaine looks to Kurt with pleading eyes, hoping that Kurt won't reject him. Kurt then sings the Nicole Kidman part, they sing the rest of the song, and they reunite in a kiss.

MEANWHILE: Tina skips prom to seek out Mike Chang to see if she can win him back. She meets him at his house and Mike admits that the months he spent without Tina were the most lonely in his life. They proceed to reminisce about the good old days and then remember a song they used to help Mike with his voice. They proceed to sing "Your Song" and then join hands, dragging each other to prom in nothing more than casual dress.
I was thinking the other night about Moulin Rouge after I FINALLY saw the movie. Basically, this year's prom needs to be themed from that movie.

I've only got two storyline brainstorms, so please leave suggestions in the form of notes and I will repost the drabble with credit to the authors.
